City Romance: 10 Of The Best Paris Wedding Venues

May 15, 2017

As the saying goes, Paris is always a good idea. When it comes to wedding venues, that’s definitely true. From world famous beauty spots to country chateaus and hidden gems, Paris really does have it all. Here’s my pick of ten amazing wedding venues in the French capital city.

Chateau de Bourron

Just outside Paris, you’ll find the Chateau de Bourron. This 17th Century family owned castle is just beyond elegant and it’s a truly wonderful wedding venue. With packages that include all fourteen bedrooms starting at least than 10,000 Euro, the French dream might be more affordable than you would think.

The Shangri La

Palatial rooms, breathtaking views and a legendary welcome, the Shangri La Paris is one of the city’s most iconic wedding venues. The rooms and suites have to be seen to be believed and for a classically luxurious wedding in France, the Shangri La can’t be beaten.

Luxembourg Gardens

Tucked between Saint-Germain-des-Pres and the Latin Quarter are the impossibly picturesque Luxembourg Gardens. The French Senate owns the 23-acre gardens and you’ll be spoiled for romantic locations inside. The Medici fountain isn’t to be missed and it’s the perfect wedding day backdrop.

XIXeme House

If you’ve not yet considered checking out Air BnB* for your dream wedding venue, then this one-of-a-kind house might just change your mind. You’ll have seen this beautiful backdrop on all the major wedding blogs and the prospect of being able to call this historical home yours for your wedding probably makes you want to pack your bags right now. *unable to credit

Chateau d’Esclimont

A little way outside Paris itself is Chateau d’Esclimont. It’s everyone’s vision of a French chateau with towers, balconies, turrets and belfries aplenty. There’s also a 60-hectare park that could have been designed with wedding photography in mind. Smaller weddings start at less than 5,000 Euro and that includes a number of bedrooms for your guests.

Parc Monceau

You’ll find Parc Monceau right in the centre of Paris. It’s downright gorgeous and a favourite of both Parisians and tourists alike. There’s an insanely pretty bridge, colonnade and even a mini Egyptian pyramid. Don’t miss the super cute merry-go-round for fantastic photos and picnics in the park are positively encouraged.

Maison de Polytechniciens

Just behind the famous Musee d’Orsay and a stone’s throw from the Seine is Maison de Polytechniciens. It’s a fabulous wedding venue and prices for the various packages are all under 200 Euro per person. The food there is extra special and this prestigious 18th Century mansion has been preserved and restored to perfection.

Musee Rodin

Hidden behind a very understated façade is a true jewel of a private mansion. The Musee Rodin’s three-hectare garden is the most spectacular wedding venue and there’s a sizeable clearspan marquee included in the cost. You can work with any suppliers you like and a private tour of the museum is a must for you and your guests.

Hotel Particulier Montmartre

If you’re eloping to Paris then a wedding at the smallest hotel in Paris would be ideal. Tucked away in the blissful district of Montmartre, the Hotel Particulier could be for you. It’s a magnet for foodies and as soon as you step inside, you’ll be lost in an exclusive Parisian hideaway. Paris’ best kept (and smallest!) secret is light, chic and romantic with gardens designed by Louis Benech, the famed designer of the iconic Le Jardins de Tuileries. This is undoubtedly my favourite spot in Paris.

Yachts de Paris

If you can’t choose one location in Paris then Yachts de Paris are for you. Glide along the Seine and enjoy an incredibly special view of the City of Lights. You can dine by candlelight, dance under the stars and experience the best Paris has to offer. Yachts de Paris offers a whole range of wedding packages or they can design something just for you.
